Hollowcore slabs are prestressed and precast concrete elements, manufactured using long line steel casting beds. They are typically 1200mm wide (but can range from 600mm – 1500mm), and between 120mm – 300mm deep.
Spans can be anywhere up to around 20m, and applications range from individual houses to residential apartments, office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals, supermarkets, industrial units and car parks.
Longitudinal voids run throughout a hollowcore slab. These reduce raw material consumption, costs, the self-weight of slabs themselves and provide ready-made ducts for services.

Principle Of Machine Working 

The push-type floor slab forming machine works on a cement platform and uses pre-stretched prestressed steel bars as guides.
The power of the motor is reduced by the reducer and drives the connecting rod to reciprocate.
Through the push plate, the free-falling concrete material in the hopper is squeezed into the mold channel, and combined with the vibration force of the upper vibrator, the extrusion is formed.
At the same time, the reaction force of pushing the material backward is used to make the whole machine overcome the friction force of contact with the ground and move forward intermittently along the prestressed steel bars.
A regular prefabricated product is formed behind the machine, which is then cured and cured and cut into finished products according to the required length.
